Tattoos =p

I think tattoos are a great way to express yourself. tattoos really show people who you are. i love see people with maybe 1 or 2 tattoos maybe more...i have absolutely nothing against them.. I like when i see people with tattoos i can ask them what lead them to get the tattoo.

I think that tattoos can be a bad thing because it will cause people to think bad of you. It may be hard to find a job.... People may discriminate you because you look different... these are the reasons why you shouldn't get a tattoo..

If it were up to me to get a tattoo I would get it in a place where people would be able to see it even though they might not like the fact that i have it. I would have to tattoo and it would be something i represent, like Peace, or A print of my father's signature so that i could always remember him and know that my father would always be with me no matter where i am.

Gold Mining

If I were a young boy working at a Mine in Africa This how my day would be and what I would be thinking......

Every morning I wake up knowing that I have to go back to the mine and work ... not for myself, but for my family... I take the long walk to the mine and get ready... because I am one of the older boys I need to go down into the mine. I have to pour mercury onto my hands because it attracts gold. As i pour the mercury i think to myself"This is so dangerous... but i must do this for my family".I then slowly lower myself into the mine... i must load rocks into the bucket so that the others can haul it up. I pace myself for a long day of doing this job... I just wish.. That one day i wont have to do this and find another way to earn money for the family. That I will give my siblings the Chance that i missed, to go to school. i wish that there would just be someone, one day that would be able to help my family....

Memories

I just finished looking at one of my best friend's blog.. I looked at her slideshow about her summer.. i really liked her very first slide. It said.. the "tans will fade but the memories will last". to me this has a lot of meaning behind it... It means that if you have a great time, no matter what happens afterwards will not effect your memories with it.. even though your friends will not be there forever, your memories will be there. =p

Well let me tell you =p.. it has something to do with cherry stems, knots, and my tongue!.. Yup you guessed it! =) I can tie a cherry stem into a knot with my tongue!! =D Well.. the first time i did it i was bored and my older brother bet me $5 that i couldn't do it.. But i proved him wrong... it took me like 10 minutes but i still did it!! in the end he didnt give me my money.. but im happy i discovered that talent... Sometimes when i show people they are amazed by it.. =D They tell me i have great control with my tongue.. =p i bet most of u guys can't do this =P

Just My thoughts

Last night as I was sleeping I started to think a lot about my future.. I started to think to myself what is important to me and why?? So I thought and thought.. I want my future to be something great.. I want to be known for doing something good to for people. I want to at least be known as a good person to the people I care about. So many things came to mind..

I thought that was bad because almost everyone I know already knows what they want to be.. I want to be when they get older! But I have so many things on mind.. I want to be great like Martin Luther King Jr. I want to make a difference in other's lives.. i want to be known like the great George Washington!! i want to do something for our society.. I want to be like Rosa Parks who is a hero to many.. I want to change the world.. I want to be like........

So everyday I've been thinking about this.... I want to be a veteranaria...and no one will stop me.. I want to be an architect .. Inspiration from my elders will guide me through this.. I want to be a teacher and make a difference in student's lives... like the great freedom writer's lives were changed by their faithful teacher.. whos name I am not sure of.. I want to be part of the ASPCA! Help save the lives of all the animals in need!I want to be a filmmaker and influence my viewers with my movies!! I want to be someone great........

Naruto!!!!!!

1. What was the podcast episode about?

The podcast was about a episode in naruto where saskue is fighting orichmaru.. the thinks he has killed orichimaru. Orichimaru was in pieces. then orichmaru turns into a white snake. when saskue was using sharingan. Orichimaur has paralyze the air and he lunges toward saskue. then saskue counters and kills orichimaru.2. Did the hosts do a good job of talking about Naruto? Why or why not?

I don't thnk so because they studdered a lot, and weren't so sure what to say at the beggining. they didnt sound like they really new what they were talking about.

3. What would you do different if you could host a Naruto podcast?

make sure i had a script or at least know what they would say before they actually hosted the podcast..

Men What Slobs!! NO Joke!!!

I just read a article about the percent of people who wash there hands.... and guess what , men did the worst!!! The article talked a lot about men not washing hands after using the bathroom. But they weren't the only one. Many women didn't wash there hands either. I thought it was interesting how the detergent companys sent people to public bathrooms and stand there and observe. I think the article was right. Everybody should wash there hands after using the bathroom, coming home from outside, and after eating!!! It is a hygiene matter. It keeps you from getting sick and other stuff like that.

A Child Called IT

I just finished reading a book called a child called it.. the story was a true one... i think it was horrible what this child had to go through.. i would never have been able to imagine that there are people in the world that will do such horrible things for their pleasure. It makes me realize how lucky i am to have a family that loves me and cares for me. my mom loves me and always wants me to do my best in everything that i try.. i cant believe that i once thought that my life was horrible because i got in trouble for what my brother did.. the kid in the story was only aknowledge as the boy.. or it.. this story really taught me how lucky i am and how unlucky some people are... This is for you dave pelzer.. i hope you can forget all of that and continue helping and doing what you think is right....

HomeLess!?

The homeless. Have you ever passed by a man or woman living on the streets? He asked you for something and you just walk right by him in disgrace. Well have you ever thought about once, just once looking that man in the eyes and some how feel his pain. Then you would give up just even some spare change. I am a person that would give up spare change extra food or just even a dollar. But how about you? I know someone who think of that man like a animal. As if he deserved no kindness. But have you ever tried to imagine what that man has to go through? just try, try to imagine of what he has to see, hear, and go through everyday.

WooHoo!! SuMmEr!!!!

Well usually my summers are BORING!.... But this year I might be going to California =D.. WOO HOO!!! We are going to go to universal studios!! there are going to be so many exciting fun things that we are gonna be able to do :).... I've have been there once before but that was when i was only 6. I went with my family. But to me the most important memory from that time was that i was with my father. He was there with me and shortly after we came back he passed away. When the family was with him we went to Disney world, Universal studios, and some other places I cant remember. =D . So one of the places i want to go most is california! In universal studios I'm going to go to the Jurassic Park Ride. It brings you up to a very high height. Then it has some sights at the top. There are plastic dinosaurs and they squirt water at you. Then unexpectedly it drops. It drops into a gigantic pools of water. It is very scary but at the same time it is very fun! ! Another ride that i want to go on is the Back to the future ride. Its not like a very scary ride but it sure can make you throw up :(. you go on a car that is held up. you sit in front of a screen and you put on seat belts. the the screen looks like it is 3D and it looks like it is throwing stuff at you. Then the car starts to shake... Well hey thats what my summer is gonna be like :)

Book Trailers

I just finished watching a book trailer. The book trailer I saw was Who Am I Without Him? It was a little bit encouraging to make me want to read it. because it was about romance and betrayal. There are a couple stories in that book and they are mostly about relationships. Once i have a chance to find the book i think i will read it. The story that they decided to do the trailer on was about a girl and her boyfriend. He cheated on he with one of the girls she hated. And now her hatred is placed on both of them.

Names

I was in Babynames.com and i searched my name. i found out that my name(Katrina) means PURE it describes me so well :) . My name is also German. I then searched my friends name. Marina, her name means of the sea, it is a latin name. Well isnt it fun to just figure out what your name really means? cause until now i didnt even know my name was german. :D

Hatred

Hatred is like a pit with stakes. Once you fall in its almost impossible to get out. The darkness is what you feel, and the stakes going through you is the hatred stabbing your limp body. You have no control over the pain you feel. But what has caused you to feel this pain? Is it someone who you despise. Well whoever they are they are not worth the hatred stabbing at your guts.These pass days I have been feeling this way. At the beginning of this week I fell into the pit.After almost a week of the stakes killing me I go pulled out by the people who i always have at my side. They were the rope that rescued me and the person that pulled me out. Even though at times i still feel the hate for that person i am no longer in the pit. I have learned that throwing myself into that hatred will only be stabbing myself. It will hurt me way more than the person i hate. Hating will always interfer with your life. You just have to learn to ignore it and stop yourself from walking into a trap. The trap is the pain, the Hate, The stakes threatening your life. But in this case, it turns your soul into a evil one. This is what i have learned. I am not saying that the pit will never threaten my life again, but i have learned to stay away. Even though in the future i will make the same mistake and fall right back in. At least now i know it is not worth your pain, your energy, your life.
